I definitely think that the purpose motive is the biggest drive for people. Or what I would call doing things that people naturally want to do.
I honest to God have been saying this since I was 15 years old. My entire family is in the education system — TA’s to principals. I am the only one with less than two degrees (I have zero). I am the only college dropout (two schools, actually). I am also the only one with a genius IQ (thank you MENSA). And I am the first and only one to exceed a six figure annual income. And I did it in my twenties. I spent the first several years of my understanding of this misinformation being rebellious towards it. However, this grew into a commitment to doing something about it… like starting my own schools starting at the pre-K level. However in my planning and research I was pleased to discover I had been beaten to the punch. This exists in a school called New Village Leadership Academy in Calabasas, CA. The founders, I’m sure you know, are Will and Jada Smith. For the many of you like Alice Cooper who feel they don’t have the “power to stop it,” your search begins there. The future is within those walls.
(I am in no way shape or form affiliated with New Village, the Smith family or anyone else for that matter. Just my two cents.)
